WebThis circular route within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and starts from the village of Compton, Berkshire. The trail has no steep parts, with mostly gently sloping tracks. There are no stiles or gates on route and some paths can be muddy and slippery after rain. You will not be sharing any of the paths with livestock. WebThe White Horse Gallop is a circular trail running race starting and finishing on the Ridgeway taking in the sights of National Trust sites of Ashdown House and the original White Horse Hill on an “undulating” route.
