Technically, it should mean the bike is 4130. When GT came out with the double bend design in 87, the single bend design went to lower priced models. Not sure if any were all chromoly. Very tough and lightweight, much more so than aluminum. It's also more expensive than aluminum. It has very desirable properties for a flywheel.
